Open ghost hunt at 2 historic and haunted museums. Bring your own equipment. This is open to the public, NOT a private investigation, please plan accordingly. $45 per person.

Women Spies in the Civil War
Join Meghan Leiter for an interesting and eye opening lecture discussing women spies from the American Civil War. Learn about Pauline Cushman, Elizabeth Van Lew and more. Admission is $10pp. and lecture and refreshments will be held in the parlor of the Wm. Phelps residence. Seating is limited.

Talking Tombstones walking tour
Meet at the Chapel in the Vienna St. cemetery. From there will we will the beautiful grounds and learn about Palmyra's past residents. This is a leisure walk, some uneven ground, please wear good shoes.

Erie Canal Walking Tour
Meet at the Palmyra Aqueduct park and learn about the Erie Canal, Lock 29, power house and more. Tour includes nature walk down the “old towpath” and admission to the museums. Admission is $10pp. No refunds

Third Thursday Lecture Series: TOTAL ECLIPSE
Join Historic Palmyra and Pal-Mac Science teacher Joe Perry as we talk about the Total Eclipse that will happen on April 4th. 2024. Joe Perry was named the 2023 Outstanding Earth Science Teacher for New York State. Mr. Perry will give advice on viewing and what the eclipse is all about!
Decades Dance with Historic Palmyra
Join Historic Palmyra and dance your winter blues away! Come dressed as your favorite decade (60's,70's,80's etc...) dust off those tye dyes and bellbottoms and put that mood ring on! Sibyl Phelps Birthday Party
Join us as we celebrate Sibyl’s 128th Birthday! Sibyl was a Spiritualist for over 50 years as well as a musician and actress. Each year we welcome psychics and mediums into her home to give personal readings along with her birthday party. This year our gallery reading will be with the Rev. Tim Shaw. Sibyls party starts at 6:00pm until 8:00pm. This is held at 140 Market St. and the Gallery reading will be held at The Coverlet Museum and starts at 8:30pm. Ticket prices vary from $25-$50.

DIG CAMP- Digging up the past
Kids and adults of all ages are invited to attend Historic Palmyra’s DIG CAMP. Experience what its like to be an archeologist. Dig site is located in the back of the museum, supplies and lunches are provided. We will also take a day to learn about the Print Shop and Erie Canal Depot. Located at 132 Market St., children 7-99 are welcome. $5 per person/child/per day
“Talking Tombstones” Cemetery Walk
Join Historic Palmyra for a history walk through the Vienna St. cemetery as we explore the grounds, learn about headstones and of course our famous past citizens. THIS IS NOT our “Famous” costumed cemetery walk. The tour will start at the Chapel at 11:00am.-1:00pm. and cost is $10per person. Tickets available online or in person. Wear comfy walking shoes and be prepared for uneven terrain.
